An outdoor sauna needs a solid, level, and well-drained base which should be prepared in advance of your professionally assembly.

The best options are a concrete slab (most durable), properly laid paving slabs, or a reinforced timber deck that can support the sauna’s weight. The base must match the sauna’s footprint, be completely level, and prevent water from pooling. Lawn, gravel, or uneven ground are not suitable without preparation.
